A tree-lined driveway leads you to the top of a hill where this beautiful rustic home is located on the outskirts of picturesque Carvoeiro. A very large property with ancient olive trees in spectacular landscaped gardens, Quinta das Árvores is a tranquil and private oasis where up to 10 guests can truly relax and unwind; enjoying all that the Algarve has to offer.
The light-filled 3 bedroom villa with 2 recently renovated bathrooms, sleeps 6 and can be rented with or without the additional 2 bedroom cottage to accommodate up to 4 more people (please enquire for differing prices).
A stone entrance leads you into the bright and spacious open-concept kitchen and dining/living areas. This beautiful space with high ceilings and arched doors affords direct access to the covered patios, garden, swimming pool and barbeque area.
There are three attractively equipped bedrooms with built-in wardrobes in the main house which can be closed off from the living area. The master bedroom has a super-comfortable king size bed and a newly renovated bathroom with elegant clawfoot bath and a stunning Moroccan walk-in double shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single bed (these two rooms share a newly renovated modern bathroom with large walk-in shower). The main house is all on one level.
A few steps down from the beautiful covered terrace is a guest wing/cottage with two separate, spacious en suite bedrooms opening out onto the stunning terraces and pool area. These rooms also have built-in wardrobes.
Luxurious bedding and towels offer a high quality and comfortable hotel experience throughout.
Two indoor lounge areas are equipped with comfortable seating to admire the views or relax with a book. An additional TV/family room (with large screen satellite TV) also opens out onto the courtyard and garden beyond through double arched doors.
A large open concept kitchen with ample bench space, storage areas and high quality appliances allows guests to prepare and cook meals whilst enjoying the scenery.
Guests have several choices for enjoying dining and relaxing....the covered terrace area has both comfortable lounge seating and a large round dining table area which overlook the pool and gardens. Directly out from the kitchen/family area is an extendable outdoor table with chairs beneath a patio which filters the sunshine. There is a smaller table with 4 chairs in the courtyard which has shade most of the day and a beautiful sunset view.
Laundry with washing machine, dryer, outdoor clothes line and ironing facilities are available for guest use.
Around the villa and garden there are many superb areas to stroll and relax in the shade or sunshine. The beautifully landscaped gardens have been featured in several magazines and offer a creative mix between manicured and natural areas for guests to enjoy. There are rural and mountain views from various locations on the property.
For the warm weather the main villa is equipped with air conditioning. For the cooler months the entire villa and cottage is equipped with under floor heating and a wood fireplace in the main villa. The property is fully fenced with electric gates and security system. The swimming pool is salt water and has a pool cover.
The pool with diving board, children’s playground, grass football/badminton pitch, table tennis, tree house, cubby house, Pétanque/Boules pitch and wonderful meandering paths throughout the landscaped garden on different levels will be sure to keep everyone occupied!
