Positive: I only stayed here for 1 night because I had a stopover in Athens. The location is excellent: a few steps from the Neos Kosmos (Νέος Κόσμος) red metro line station. Tram #6 runs from right outside the hostel to Syntagma Square; on foot it's a 40-minute walk, and a taxi costs about €6. Since I arrived after midnight and was leaving after 9 a.m. the next morning, there was nobody at the reception desk. Entering the hostel was no problem, as the receptionist sent the necessary information via Booking Messenger. Entry to the hostel building is via a code on the door. The 8-person dorm isn't very spacious, but it's adequate if you plan to spend most of your time outside the hostel. A plus is that there are lockers for your personal items (padlocks are already included, so you don't need to worry about that). Clean, fragrant bedding! There were shared showers and toilets on the same floor (I thought each gender had its own toilets, but that wasn't a problem for me). The kitchen on the ground floor, right next to the reception, is quite small, but well-equipped: in addition to a large fridge, there is a microwave, a kettle, a drip coffee machine, a capsule coffee machine, and even an airfryer (I've never seen this before in a hostel!🙂). There is a shelf in the kitchen with free stuff: it could be very useful for those who are only staying for a short stay. 👍 On the plus side: you can eat a meal or drink your morning coffee on the spacious interior patio, surrounded by the walls of the building.☕ There is a fridge with drinks available for purchase at the reception desk - a good option for latecomers: you take a drink and leave the amount on the reception desk. Also at the reception, there is a stand with city maps, places to eat and suggestions for sightseeing in Athens and the surrounding area.

Negative: Dorms don't have locks, so this can be a security issue. It's a good idea to always keep your belongings in lockers.🤔 The hostel is right next to a busy street; for me, no difference, but people with sensitive sleep may feel a little uncomfortable because of it.🤫
