Positive: PLEASE BE SURE TO READ MY ENTIRE REVIEW IN THE REVIEWS SECTION FOR FULL INFORMATION The location and the flat were good as well as the level of comfort. It's a very nice and spacious flat but unfortunately, some of the amenities were not as described. Having said that, the furniture was good and other than the bed size, the flat was very comfortable. The fridge, cookstove, electric kettle, microwave and washing machine were clean and in good working order. All work surfaces and linens were clean but many other things were not. Fair warning for people with physical limitations - the elevator in the building was not working for almost 3 days during our one week stay. The king flat is on the 8th floor. This is not necessarily the hosts' fault, it's the responsibility of the building owners but still. I'm a relatively fit 68 years old but climbing those stairs was not my idea of fun. The elevator itself is one of those really old, wonky things but when it worked, it worked just fine.

Negative: Many things listed as available were not. First and foremost, the outdoor dining area and patio. The flat is listed as non-smoking and so we chose it because we could smoke on the patio. Lo and behold, no patio, no balcony, no outdoor dining area whatsoever. The person who met us then told us it was okay to smoke in the flat. Other things listed but not available: Kitchenware - there were six spoons, one large knife, a few cups, glasses and plates, one medium frypan and one medium aluminum saucepan. That's it, no other utensils whatsoever for eating or for cooking. Bathrobes - none Slippers - none Towels - one large towel and one small towel for 2 people for a week is unacceptable Tea/coffee maker - none Iron was there but iron facilities? If they mean an ironing board, I didn't find it. Drying rack for clothing - none Not sure what they mean by 2 beds. There was one small double, not extra long as listed. Presumably the second bed would be the living room sofa which would be okay for a child. Television and satellite yes but I never did get them to work. Do the remotes need new batteries? Perhaps a quick, written explanation would be helpful, also for the washing machine. Cleanliness on first glance was good. But look a little further and it was appalling. The shelves in the wardrobes and kitchen cupboards had not been cleaned, the kitchen dishes needed to be washed before we could use them, the washing machine flooded the bathroom floor. When I moved the small table beside the bed to plug in my phone, months of dust and dirt came to light. The place needs a deep clean, top to bottom.
