Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house sits at the top of the village offering a stunning view and is surrounded by nature even though it is within the residential area. It was in excellent condition, quiet, very clean and fully equipped. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. When we reported a problem with the bedroom air-con, they took immediate action and fixed it next morning. It is actually the hosts' main residence over the winter but their personal belongings are discretly tucked away so that you don't get the feeling that you're staying in someone else's house. It is also within a comfortable walking distance to the sea front with all the restaurants, so no need to drive and worry about parking. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in a gorgeous spot in the village and I would highly recommend it especially for families.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like, the house was perfect. If I were to make a suggestion however, that would be to install an air-con in the second bedroom. It does currently have a large ceiling fan that does the job (so do the other rooms), but I suspect it may not suffice during a heat wave which we were lucky to escape. That said, I don't mean this as a negative - just a suggestion.
