The Space:
Villa Oryx is part of a unique sea view project named “Olive Stone Villas”. It is located high above the bay of Paleros, surrounded by olive groves with the peaceful beach of Pogonia close by and within walking distance. The turquoise Ionian Sea, being complimented perfectly by the lush green backdrop of the Acarnanian Mountains, gives the villa an amazing view of never ending colours.
Villa Oryx offer the perfect home from home and is ideal for a family to enjoy a peaceful vacation and will ensure long lasting memories of a beautiful and relaxing holiday.
Consisting of 2 bedrooms, the master includes an en-suite master with rainshower, stone wash basin and W.C, the second has rainshower and stone wash basin. Both rooms have plenty of storage space and shelving for a laptop or other items. Out from the second bedroom there is a guest W.C
The living area has a comfortable modern sofa which faces directly to the outside so you can take in the breathtaking scenery or alternatively relax in front of the 50” smart TV.
A fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for your vacation stay and if you want to eat inside there is a teak dining table with chairs.
From the lounge, the large glass sliding doors exit on onto a beautiful external area. A bamboo pergola covers out-door kitchen, this allows for an unforgettable al-fresco eating experience, enjoying the unique Greek cuisine served with a glass of chilled ouzo whilst watching the day disappear and the night begin.
A 3.3 x 4 metre plunge pool at Villa Oryx offers a cooling experience out of the midday sun. For the sun lovers, teak sunbeds surround the pool enabling the holiday tan to be achieved.
Surrounding the villa, a beautiful garden has been planted with Oleanders and other traditional Greek plants and herbs with an established olive tree giving the ultimate feeling of being in beautiful and traditional Greece..

The Neighborhood:
Pogonia, a picturesque village located on the west coast of mainland Greece, is situated in a breathtaking backdrop of beautiful and serene vistas and the crystal clear waters of the Ionian sea. Olive trees, vineyards and pine trees extend down to sandy beaches. Local tavernas, cafe and a bakery are within walking distance.
At Paleros town at 4km from the villa there are supermarkets, bank ATM's, car, bike & boat rentals, several tavernas, cafe, bars and in general nightlife. The most popular is the modern and fun Paleros Yacht club that provides all day entertainment and offers sun loungers and umbrellas to relax under whilst enjoying a drink from the large variety of cocktails that they offer or to dine on the delicious food chosen from an extremely modern and tasty menu.
The villa offers an excellent base to be able to explore the neighbouring islands of Lefkada, Meganissi, Kalamos, Kastos, Astakos and the famous Scorpios island. We thoroughly recommend our rib boat day cruise around the many Ionian Islands as it offers an amazing insight to the many beauties of Greece that are often overlooked.
